Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Load Management and Transportation Coordinator to facilitate load management and dispatch dedicated drivers. The role trains associates on transportation procedures and may operate a company or rental vehicle as needed.

The candidate must maintain acceptable MVR status, hold a valid driver’s license, and support route planning, safety inspections, and customer-focused deliveries within the service area.

Qualifications

• Prior experience delivering merchandise using a box truck or similar vehicle.
• 3+ years operating material handling equipment.
• Wholesale distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the loading and dispatching of all driver routes.
• Oversees pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Conducts daily route planning and optimization for drivers.
• Serves as the primary contact for driver-related issues.
• Coaches and trains drivers on policies and procedures.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and routes.
• Delivers customer orders within the service area and handles order issues.
• Provides exceptional customer service during deliveries.
