Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in Kansas City, KS, is hiring a Delivery Coordinator II to investigate and resolve warehouse inventory issues and ensure that orders are scheduled for delivery and ready for delivery. You will contact customers when deliveries cannot be kept, support delivery providers, and coordinate with management and office staff to keep deliveries smooth.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of clerical/customer relations experience; weekend/early hours

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of office/clerical experience with customer relations and problem resolution.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Knowledge of computers and Microsoft products required.
• Data entry skills at 50 words per minute per department requirements.
• Excellent oral communication and phone skills.
• Pre-employment screening includes criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Audit delivery orders and exception reports to identify problems and take actions.
• Advise teammates and delivery providers on necessary actions to execute the business plan.
• Analyze requests and provide approvals or alternatives to ensure customer loyalty.
• Assist and direct delivery providers, management, office staff and delivery teams.
