Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook preferred.
• Knowledge of supply management principles.
• Construction or building industry knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and coordinate freight and routes.
• Dispatch and load driver assignments and print manifests.
• Pre-call customers and inform them of delays.
• Coordinate transfers and schedule outside trucks as needed.
• Communicate with sales teams, drivers and customers.
• Monitor metrics and maintain records.
• Administer time clock management and DOT tasks.
• Maintain invoice records and filing system.
• Identify methods to streamline production processes.
