Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek’s, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to various job sites and locations. This role requires a Class A or B CDL, pre-/post-trip inspections, and responsible load management.

The successful candidate will perform DOT logs, adhere to hours-of-service, unload materials, and support inventory in warehouses. Interacting with customers professionally is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Deliveries to active construction sites and completed locations; city-based and inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional demeanor on site.
• Organize and secure loads; verify orders for accuracy before departure and on delivery.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs of driving hours, on-duty time, and rest periods.
