Job summary

Ritter Lumber is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead delivery operations at the store and lumber yard, ensuring timely, accurate service and strong leadership of the delivery crew. You will manage route planning, load accuracy, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with Inventory, Sales, and Warehouse teams.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years in delivery/logistics, with experience in routing systems and inventory software, and will uphold safety standards and company-wide

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in delivery or logistics management within retail or lumber.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with routing systems and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the delivery team to ensure safe, on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Oversee route planning, load accuracy, and customer service standards.
• Enforce fleet safety and delivery procedures across the team.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Sales, and Receiving to ensure product availability.
• Address delivery issues, delays, or damages with clear internal and external communication.
• Serve as acting store management when Location Manager is unavailable.
