Job summary

Gensler in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead (Project Architect) to steer design development through documentation and construction administration. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure high-quality architectural outcomes on fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities include leading project delivery, coordinating with consultants, and mentoring junior staff, with a focus on constructability and design excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Registered/Licensed Architect.
• 10+ years serving as a Project Architect on complex projects.
• Experience leading architectural teams through design development to CA.
• Strong knowledge of detailing, codes, accessibility, and constructability.
• Ability to lead consultant coordination and deliver coordinated documents.
• Proficient in Revit; BIM delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural delivery of multiple fast-paced projects.
• Serve as embedded Project Architect guiding teams through DD, CD, permitting, and CA.
• Translate design intent into coordinated, constructible solutions.
• Set priorities, delegate work, monitor progress toward milestones.
• Lead coordination with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors.
• Oversee production and coordination of drawings, specs, and docs.
• Mentor architects and designers, providing technical guidance.
