Job summary

Computacenter Senior Project Manager leads customer deployment projects from initiation through delivery and closure, coordinating with Sales, engineering, production, logistics, and other delivery functions to ensure successful, on-time outcomes.

You will own project planning, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communications, building trust with customers and cross-functional teams while guiding delivery without direct reporting authority. US work eligibility and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within data centers, IT infrastructure, technology deployment, or professional services.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, concurrent projects and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Project management certification, such as PMP, preferred
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from initiation through delivery and closure, maintaining alignment on scope, schedule, priorities, responsibilities, and outcomes.
• Serve as the primary customer contact or, when a Program Manager owns the broader relationship, lead project-level communication and delivery in alignment with that role.
• Build customer trust through professionalism, responsiveness, transparency, and consistent follow-through.
• Lead cross-functional teams through influence, setting priorities and driving accountability without direct reporting authority.
• Monitor open orders received from Sales Support and manage customer fulfillment requests, schedule requirements, priorities, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain integrated plans covering technical approvals, production services, shipping, delivery, resources, dependencies, and customer readiness.
