Job summary

Xerox Corporation is seeking a Delivery Driver / Installation Specialist to support the Greater San Antonio area. You will load, secure, deliver and perform basic setup of equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

This is a full-time role with regular weekday hours and overtime opportunities, requiring physical ability to lift heavy items and travel as needed. Training will be provided to ensure smooth deliveries and installations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ years of experience driving a delivery/box truck preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and load/unload equipment.
• Comfort with using smartphones/tablets and GPS navigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic box truck safely and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and install equipment at customer locations and complete all paperwork.
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a clean driving record.
• Provide basic training on copiers, printers and office equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and returns.

Overview:

Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Delivery Driver / Installation Specialist to support the Greater San Antonio areas. As a Delivery Driver / Installation Specialist you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. You must also follow up with paperwork for every delivery. The truck drivers work together with the shop and warehouse. This is a full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM with overtime opportunity delivering equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
• The associate w ill need to be flexible with overnight stays to meet client and company needs.
• Work will in Team environment with other truck driver drivers and Warehouse personnel.
• Perform all paperwork deliver delivery and removals.
• Unload trucks same day and load for the next day.
• Connect printer peripherals so that the Multi-Function Devices and Printer deliveries can pass paper
• Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
• Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed

What You Need to Succeed:

• Valid Driver’s License
• One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred but not required – we provide the training!
• Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines.
• Basic mechanical understanding preferred
• Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary.
• Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

How We Set You Up for Success:

• Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of the delivery driver role and responsibilities
• Job shadowing to thoroughly prepare you to make deliveries and perform installations independently
