Job summary

Xerox Corporation in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Delivery Driver to load, deliver, install, and collect office equipment while delivering excellent customer service. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. Training is provided for new drivers.

The position requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50–75 lbs, and familiarity with smartphones/tablets for digital records and navigation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving a 16–26 ft box delivery truck preferred but training is provided.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and handle equipment safely.
• Comfort with smartphones/tablets and basic navigation tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic box truck safely and deliver equipment.

As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time (Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM with occasional overtime) opportunity delivering equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
• Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
• Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed

What You Need to Succeed:

• Valid Driver’s License
• One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred but not required – we provide the training!
• Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines.
• Basic mechanical understanding preferred
• Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary.
• Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
