Job summary

Xerox is seeking a Delivery Driver in Lewiston, ME to load, deliver and set up equipment and provide excellent customer service. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional overtime.

You will operate a box truck, comply with safety and transportation laws, train customers on copiers and office devices, and support warehouse tasks as needed. Valid driver's license required; prior box truck driving preferred; ability to lift 50–75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience driving 16'– 26' box delivery trucks preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
• Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed

As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time (Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM with occasional overtime) opportunity delivering equipment.

What You Will Do:

What You Need to Succeed:

• Valid Driver’s License
• One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred but not required – we provide the training!
• Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines.
• Basic mechanical understanding preferred
• Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary.
• Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
