Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is hiring a Delivery Driver in Pompano Beach, FL. You will load, transport, and deliver items in a 20-24’ box truck, upholding safety, DOT compliance, and customer service standards while representing the Jasper brand.

The role requires pre-trip inspections, a neat appearance, and the ability to assist with branch warehouse tasks. Starting pay is $20.00/hour with progression reviews, training, and full benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24’ box truck, including a DOT Medical Card (CDL not required).
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Must know how to use a GPS for routing.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.

• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week. Tuesdays off
• 10-hour shifts and hours may vary.
• No weekends.
• No overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24’ box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00/hour.
