Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Portland, OR seeks a Delivery Driver to load, deliver, and service customers with a 20-24’ box truck. DOT rules apply; overnight routes occur weekly. 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts, with potential overtime and no weekend work.

Full benefits after 30 days and ESOP participation are included. Starting pay is $23.75/hour with ongoing wage increases after performance reviews. This role supports the branch warehouse and requires a reliable, energetic, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• CDL not required.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products with pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from a 20-24’ box truck.
• Deliver safely and on time with good customer service.
• Follow DOT rules and regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assist with branch warehouse support.

Job Overview

Duties Include

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 10-hour shifts and hours may vary, possibility of overtime
• No Weekends
• This branch does require an overnight route - Once a week, as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required). A CDL is not required.
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.
