Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Lockport, IL area. You will load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck, ensuring safe and timely deliveries with strong customer service while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role includes daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and occasional branch warehouse support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated, with availability for 10-hour shifts Mon–Fri and occasional overnight routes as needed.

Qualifications

• Must obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Schedule

4 days per week. (M/T/W/F) 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. This branch does require an overnight route, as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.

Pay and Benefits

Starting rate $21.00/hour. Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases. On the job training.
