Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Driver I in Colorado to deliver merchandise from a local warehouse to customers along a designated route.

You’ll plan, load, and complete multiple deliveries daily, using handheld device tech for signatures, and partner with sales teams to ensure smooth service. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of box truck driving experience, are able to lift up to 40 pounds, and comply with DOT/CDL requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of box truck driving experience, GVW 14,500–26,000 lbs.
• Physical fitness to move continuously, lift up to 40 lbs, operate power equipment.
• Ability to comply with DOT/CDL regulations (if applicable).
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Delivery drivers may work flexible shifts with overtime (additional pay).
• DL number - valid driver’s license, in-state.

Responsibilities

• Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise per schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
• Uses handheld device to capture signatures for all deliveries.
• May support warehouse operations (pulling, checking, stocking, etc.).
• Verifies daily vehicle inspections and maintains vehicles/equipment (e.g., lift gates).
• Escalates customer complaints and ensures compliant procedures.
• Partners with sales and other departments to ensure efficient customer service.
• Adheres to safety and compliance guidelines for vehicle and warehouse equipment.
