Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Associate in Farmington, NM. You will pull orders, prepare items for delivery, and safely deliver to job sites while representing Summit to customers.

This entry-level role offers training in products, processes, and best practices to grow your career within Summit. The role emphasizes reliable driving, accurate order fulfillment, and proactive communication with sales teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs and weekly vehicle inspection reports.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report all delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.
