Job summary

Summit Electric Supply in New Mexico is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Associate to pull orders, prepare them for delivery, and safely transport materials to customer job sites. You will represent Summit to customers and support the sales team with feedback from the field.

This entry-level branch position is a great way to learn the business and grow into future opportunities at Summit. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate order fulfillment, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time effectively.
• Strong communication skills, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs and weekly vehicle inspection reports.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report all delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.
