Job summary

Summit Electric Supply in Texas is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery associate to pull customer orders, verify accuracy, prepare shipments, and deliver materials to job sites. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and a path to growth within Summit and the Sonepar group.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. Safety and customer service are prioritized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent driving record and a valid Driver's License.
• Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to change and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report all delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintain safe practices and uphold Summit's commitment to a safe workplace.
