Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC in Portland, ME seeks a motivated CDL B driver for a 4-day workweek with early AM start times (2:00–5:00 AM) and local route deliveries. The role offers strong compensation, a generous PTO plan, and a path for growth within a driver-operated fleet.

You will operate our fleet, ensure DOT compliance, and maintain excellent customer relations. Starting pay is $1,250–$1,400 per week, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus after six months and a yearly safety bonus for safe drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL B).
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Working knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections per DOT standards.
• Good communication skills with customers.
• Delivery-type job experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access cargo area.
• Ability to use handheld/mobile computers to transact sales and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive local delivery routes starting and ending at the work location.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with local management on route organization and process improvements.
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company.

This position is a 4-day schedule with shift start times between 2:00AM-5:00AM depending upon the route and driver preferences. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
