Job summary

Oakhurst is seeking a driver to operate with a CDL B, delivering locally on a 4-day work week. Early shift starts between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with weekends off and a focus on safe, efficient delivery routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections per DOT standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely enter/exit the vehicle cargo area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily local routes departing and returning to the work location.
• Maintain timely and accurate delivery documents using handheld/mobile devices.
• Coordinate with local management for route planning and process improvements.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
• Delivery type job experience a plus
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of vehicle cargo box
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents
