Oakhurst Dairy in Waterville, ME is hiring a driver for daily local deliveries on a 4-day schedule with early morning start times. Home daily, with an attractive compensation package and excellent benefits. You will operate a CDL B vehicle, handle route paperwork on handheld devices, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications include a valid CDL B and DOT medical card, knowledge of Hours-of-Service, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Relocation not required; weekend time off is available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• DOT medical card required or ability to obtain.
• Operational knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections per DOT standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers.
• Delivery-type job experience a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of cargo box.
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents.

Responsibilities

This employment opportunity is a great fit for a motivated, hard-working person that likes to work independently with a lot of variety throughout the workday. This position is a 4-day schedule with shift start times between 2:00AM-5:00AM depending upon the route and driver preferences. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
