Oakhurst in Portland, ME is seeking a motivated driver for a 5-day schedule with shift starts between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM. You will handle daily local delivery routes from your work location, with most work at loading docks and minimal liftgate use.

The local management team emphasizes collaboration and schedules that work for you. We offer a strong compensation package including 3 1/2 weeks of vacation in year one, paid holidays and sick time, a $2,500 sign-on bonus after six months, and safety

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Operational knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections.
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of vehicle cargo box or trailer.
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents.

Responsibilities

This employment opportunity is a great fit for a motivated, hard-working person that likes to work independently with a lot of variety throughout the workday. This position is a 5-day schedule with shift start times between 2:00AM-5:00AM depending upon the route and driver preferences. Our local management team fosters a collaborative environment and works hard to develop and maintain schedules that work for our team members. Requirements
