Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely deliver orders and maintain positive customer relations. You will drive a Graybar truck on a local route, with no overnights or weekend work, typically Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm.

Responsibilities include route planning, loading/unloading, vehicle inspections, and accurate log maintenance. A valid license, DOT medical exam, and experience operating forklifts/pallet jacks are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements to work in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing and DOT-related medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks and use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies; safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs; work a local route with no overnights or weekends away.

You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
