Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Delivery Driver to securely transport orders to customers and maintain excellent service on a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule. You will operate a Graybar vehicle, load/unload goods, and manage proper truck logs while ensuring safety and timeliness.

Responsibilities include route planning, delivering with care, and using forklifts/pallet jacks when needed. A valid license, DOT exam, and CMV certification are required; CDL not required for this role.

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Valid driver’s license for vehicle type.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine best routes to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers with excellent service.
• Load and unload trucks; operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies; maintain truck logs.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times; work a local route (no overnights).

You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
