Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to customer destinations, delivering orders on time and delivering great service. You will build positive customer relations, pass along feedback, and promote services and products.

The role typically runs Monday–Friday during the day and is home each night, with comprehensive benefits and employee ownership through Graybar.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of a warehouse environment.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Must have a valid driver's license for vehicle type.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to Graybar customers with excellent service.
• Determine best routes to meet customer expectations.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment.
• Inspect vehicle and maintain logs.
• Operate vehicle safely at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route with no overnights/weekends away.

More than a job - a career.As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
