Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a Delivery Director–Product Engineer to own the AI-native delivery system across a portfolio of programs. You will lead Product Engineers, partner with client executives, and ensure measurable business outcomes while driving engineering excellence.

You will mentor teams, shape the technical strategy, and align engineering efforts with client goals, ROI, and ethical AI adoption. This is an onsite leadership role with future hybrid possibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven success leading complex, multi-workstream programs with accountability for roadmap, financials, and technical quality.
• Strong technical fluency—comfortable in code, repositories, IDEs, version control, and AI-enabled engineering tools.
• Proven success building and scaling AI-native ways of working—context, specifications, prompts, agents, and workflows across build, test, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own product outcomes, technical quality, and delivery performance across programs and projects.
• Define and evolve the AI-native engineering system and workflows.
• Set technical direction for AI-enabled delivery across programs and ensure teams build on it.
• Translate strategy into portfolio-level product direction and investment cases.
• Staff the right roles on the right programs and align with go-to-market leaders.
• Mentor and grow Product Engineers and managers into AI-native leaders.
• Lead value-based conversations with executives about ROI backed by experiments.
