Job summary

Make is seeking a Delivery Lead to drive large-scale software delivery for clients across the US and Canada from a remote setting. You will own delivery strategy, align teams, and ensure on-time, in-scope results with quality software that users love.

You’ll partner with AI-first engineers and designers, manage scope and risks, and translate goals into concrete plans while maintaining clear client communication and a culture of ownership.

Qualifications

• AI-first mindset
• 5+ years in project or delivery management
• 3+ years managing custom software development (web and/or mobile)
• Delivered at least two software products from scratch
• Manage complex scope, dependencies, and large requirements
• Strong risk management with a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and ability to read the room
• Comfort with APIs, integrations and modern software platforms
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and forward-thinking
• Strong ownership mindset

Responsibilities

• Join a team of AI-first engineers, designers, and leaders
• Lead the delivery of large-scale custom software projects across scope, timeline, and quality
• Identify delivery risks and communicate tradeoffs and mitigation plans
• Partner closely with clients, acting as a trusted, strategic advisor
• Plan ahead by shaping future work, dependencies, and priorities
• Translate goals into clear requirements, tasks, and delivery plans
• Facilitate sprint planning, grooming, and prioritization with engineering and design teams
• Maintain detailed project plans, reporting and documentation
• Drive projects forward with ownership and a positive presence
