Job summary

Weltman is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to notify and locate consumers with delinquent accounts and attempt payment in compliance with FDCPA, WWR and client standards. The role involves contacting consumers by phone, negotiating payment arrangements, and documenting financial status to update records.

The position requires accurate data entry, effective communication, and the ability to maintain professionalism on a monitored phone line. Training and solid attendance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of consistent work experience preferred in hospitality, customer service, call center or sales.
• Accurate typing and data entry skills.
• Ability to meet revenue goals (85%+) per month.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Notify and locate consumers with delinquent accounts and attempt payment per FDCPA and client standards.
• Contact consumers by phone to determine reason for delinquency and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Document financial status and status of collection efforts; update account notes.
• Locate consumers via various records and sources and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Follow scripts and regulatory requirements; maintain professional customer service on calls.
