GLS is seeking a collections specialist to manage a portfolio of auto loan accounts on-site in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on reducing delinquency, understanding customers' pay ability, and maintaining positive relationships.

You will contact customers, negotiate payment arrangements, document outcomes, and strive to meet or exceed goals in a fast-paced setting. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of auto loan accounts and reduce delinquency.
• Contact customers to understand intent and ability to pay.
• Maintain positive relationships while collecting on past-due balances.
• Negotiate solutions with immediate payments and/or promises to pay with clear dates and amounts.
• Follow state and company guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately document all contacts, outcomes, and follow-up in GLS systems.
• Meet or exceed assigned goals and business plan objectives.
• Maintain electronic records and support additional assignments.
