Job summary

ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health is seeking a Telephone Collector Representative in Anchorage, AK to contact consumers about delinquent accounts and collect payments or arrangements. You will use collection software to track accounts and assess financial situations, negotiating terms while handling high-stress interactions.

The role requires a high school diploma and being at least 18, with a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Contact consumers to determine the reason for payment delinquency.
• Update account information using a computerized system and collection software.
• Evaluate and assess the consumer’s financial situation.
• Negotiate payment arrangements or payment in full wherever possible.
• Respond to consumer inquiries and resolve issues, complaints, and stalls.
