Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Loss Analyst I to help protect revenue and reduce financial risk within the Merchant Collections team. You will resolve outstanding balances, educate merchants on options, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolutions.

You’ll analyze account activity, identify vulnerabilities, and influence risk decisions while delivering a positive customer experience. This is a dynamic role in a global payments company.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer service or call center environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to assess account activity and risks.
• Effective verbal and written communication with the ability to influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive recovery outcomes by managing delinquent merchant accounts and securing payment resolutions.
• Investigate account activity to identify vulnerabilities and recommend actions to protect against future losses.
• Educate merchants on balances, fees, chargebacks, and payment options to help maintain healthy account standing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve accuracy, and accelerate resolutions.
• Identify trends and root causes of losses to help improve processes and reduce risk.
