Job summary

Wescom Financial is seeking a Collections Representative II to protect assets and lower delinquencies by following collection guidelines and assisting members with their financial needs.

Responsibilities include contacting members, maintaining service quality, handling call center duties, and managing a large portfolio to keep delinquencies in check. Must have high school education and relevant collection experience.

Qualifications

• High School education required and a minimum of two years high volume auto finance or unsecured collection experience.
• Knowledge of lending and collection regulations (FDCPA and Rosenthal FDCPA).
• Strong communications skills, written and oral, great problem solving and analytical skills, ability to use good judgement, team spirited and goal oriented, self-starter, and enthusiastic. Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contacts members and joint members by telephone and written correspondence to collect delinquent loan payments on Consumer, Real Estate and Recovery accounts.
• Maintains high level of member service in every member interaction.
• Works in a call center environment handling inbound and outbound calls.
• Manages 100+ accounts to meet gapping standards of three business days or less.
