Job summary

Wescom Financial Services, LLC is seeking a Collections Representative II to protect assets and lower delinquencies. You will contact members by phone and correspondence to collect on various accounts, manage 100+ delinquent files, and negotiate payment plans while maintaining a high level of service.

Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. Hybrid/remote options are available, with Wescom servicing a broad California presence.

Qualifications

• High School education required and a minimum of two years high volume auto finance or unsecured collection experience.
• Knowledge of lending regulations (FDCPA and Rosenthal FDCPA).
• Strong communications skills, written and oral, great problem solving and analytical skills, ability to use good judgement, team spirited and goal oriented, self-starter, and enthusiastic.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contacts members and joint members by telephone and written correspondence to collect delinquent loan payments, on Consumer, Real Estate and Recovery accounts.
• Manages assigned work list of 100+ accounts to ensure three business days or less gap.
• Negotiates payment arrangements and analyzes accounts to prevent further delinquency.
