Job summary

Mynd is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist in Dallas, TX, to manage delinquency rates and eviction processes, ensuring timely payment resolution and compliance with laws.

You will work closely with residents and legal teams, maintain records, analyze trends, and provide training to property management teams. This role requires up to 10% travel and offers competitive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in real estate or property management overseeing rental operations
• Ability to cultivate relationships, deescalate situations, and negotiate solutions
• Understanding of leasing, property management, and real estate investing
• Excellent verbal and written communication with proper grammar and tone
• Experience managing budgets and generating financial reports
• Proficient with Google apps and project management tools; tech savvy
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when needed
• Knowledge of local residential real estate laws and regulations
• Ability to travel, including quarterly overnight visits in territory

Responsibilities

• Monitor delinquency rates and minimize late payments and non-payment issues
• Initiate eviction processes in accordance with local laws and lease agreements
• Communicate with residents regarding delinquency, payment plans, and notices
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliant eviction procedures
• Maintain records of delinquency cases, payments, and eviction proceedings
• Analyze delinquency trends and recommend payment process improvements
• Coordinate with property management to address delinquency issues and retention
• Stay updated on laws related to delinquency and eviction processes
• Prepare reports on delinquency metrics for management review
• Provide training to property management on delinquency prevention
• Court appearances in person or via Zoom when needed
