Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of similar or related experience.
• Able to perform medium work up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service to shoppers in the Delicatessen department.
• Greets customers by name when possible and assists with locating products.
• Assists in pricing, promotions, and product placement to ensure freshness and appeal.
• Trains new employees and delegates tasks to part-time crew as needed.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the department per company guidelines.
• Handles customer issues promptly and professionally.
