Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market in the United States is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods, assist customers, and maintain attractive, safe deli displays. You will slice meats, assemble items, and ensure proper labeling and portioning while delivering friendly service.

You will also stock and monitor products, manage temperatures, and support a fast‑paced team throughout shifts. Experience in food service or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Experience preparing deli products, slicing and assembling items.
• Knowledge of deli meats, cheeses and prepared foods, plus proper labeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items, slice meats and assemble grab‑and‑go options for customers.
• Keep the department stocked, clean, and organized with fresh displays and proper temps.
• Deliver friendly, efficient service and handle transactions accurately.
