Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Deli Clerk. You will be centered on preparing fresh food and creating a welcoming experience for customers, helping them choose from deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and prepared items while keeping service friendly and efficient.

You’ll also maintain stocked, clean displays, monitor product freshness and temperature, and stay busy in a fast-paced environment through slicing, restocking, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and prep equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare hot and cold deli items and grab‑and‑go options.
• Slice meats, assemble orders, and portion items accurately.
