Qualifications

• Must be able to solve arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Must understand and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Visual requirements include general vision capabilities.
• Ability to operate slicer and fryer safely.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
• Greets customers and assists in the deli department.
• Takes customer orders at the deli counter and processes them.
• Slices product, weighs, dates, labels and wraps items.
• Maintains sanitation and clean work area.
• Monitors temperatures of hot and cold units.
• Reviews daily orders and replenishes product as needed.
• Handles inventory tasks: pricing, stocking, ordering.
• Ensures compliance with health department regulations.
