Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced kitchen and deli team. You will assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and ensure deli items are properly packaged and presented.

Responsibilities include operating slicers, wrapping and cooking equipment, stocking displays, taking special orders, and maintaining a clean, sanitary deli area in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/food service experience
• Dependable, reliable, and customer friendly
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices and prepare fresh, easy meals
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products and displays
• Prepare special orders and party trays
• Operate deli equipment following standards
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments
