Job summary

The GIANT Company in McConnellsburg, PA is seeking a capable team member to enter orders, schedule work and supervise staff in the deli, carryout, café and cheese operations. You will train teammates and ensure products are stocked, priced, and presented according to SOPs.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, maintaining cleanliness, assisting customers, and following safety policies to support a healthy community and an efficient store operation.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years, and teach new team members importance.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule and prepare duties at the start of shift.
• Perform tasks in deli, carryout, café, and cheese operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, tools, equipment, cases, floors and counters.
• Prepare and stock products in department sales floor cases.
• Plan weekly Circular ad.
