The role involves directing staff in the absence of the Team Leader, maintaining stock and merchandising standards, and ensuring food safety compliance in a fast-paced setting. Must be 18+ and able to work around kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli/bistro operations.
• Ability to direct department personnel.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Meet department goals and communicate with store leadership and supervisors.
• Order products and supplies to maintain stock levels and merchandising standards.
• Oversee preparation and serving of deli/bistro items for hot and cold cases.
• Display deli/bistro merchandise per guidelines and rotate products.
• Monitor quality, safety, and shrink; ensure food safety compliance.
• Audit invoices, receive merchandise, and manage storage areas.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and shelf tags for accuracy.
• Maintain clean and orderly counters, prep areas, and coolers.
• Safe operation around slicers, ovens, and burners.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely, satisfactory completion.
• All other related duties as assigned.
