The GIANT Company is seeking a Deli Department Supervisor in Mount Joy, PA. You will enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train teammates, stock items, set pricing, and handle daily department tasks to ensure fresh, safe, and appealing deli offerings.

This role emphasizes teamwork and operational efficiency across deli, cheese, and related areas. Responsibilities include managing production, ensuring sanitation, assisting customers, and supporting inventory and loss-prevention efforts.

Competenze

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate effectively and follow company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Must meet performance standards and maintain regular attendance.

Mansioni

• Review the work schedule at the start of each shift and prepare for duties.
• Perform markdowns and track loss.
• Cook and prepare deli items, pizzas, and related products per SOP.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
• Train and supervise team members; oversee scheduling and production.
• Assist customers and portion deli items; weigh and label products.
• Prepare grab-and-go items and manage case stock.
• Maintain paperwork: temperature charts, sanitation logs, and production planning.
• Plan the weekly circular ad and support department goals.
