Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager in Tempe to lead a busy Deli team, ensure top-quality product, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist in hiring, training, and coordinating daily operations to maximize productivity.

The role requires 18+ with supervisory deli experience, strong communication, and a focus on food safety and compliance. This fast-paced position offers growth and a collaborative team culture withinSprouts.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old with preferred 2 years supervisory experience in deli or food service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to take/give direction in a team setting.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers and take special orders.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff while tracking reports and goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Strong organization and planning skills; prioritize multiple tasks.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long shifts.
• Experience with slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Deli Manager in merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and exceptional service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli staff.
• Unload/store deliveries and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure implementation of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Support a fast-paced, customer-focused store environment.
