Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help lead our busy deli team and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment. You will assist in daily operations, inventory, and training while ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

The role supports scheduling, teamwork, and high standards of product quality to create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 18 years old and preferred 2 years supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
