Sprouts Farmers Market in Plano is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest deli teams. You will drive customer service excellence while overseeing daily operations, inventory, and staffing in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist in hiring, training, and developing staff, ensuring food safety standards, efficient production, and strong teamwork. This role offers growth opportunities and a dynamic work culture with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred in deli or related food service.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to take and give direction in a team.
• Proven leadership to motivate and maintain staff; manage reports and sales goals.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in overseeing department operations and merchandising.
• Manage ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Deli team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Contribute to hiring, training, and development of the Deli staff.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
