Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a Coordinator team member to plan, direct, and supervise daily department operations. You will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and displaying products while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards.

You will lead scheduling, staffing, and development efforts, mentor team members, and help achieve sales and margin goals while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and provide career paths within the department.
• Support disciplinary actions and advise on discharge decisions.
• Attain sales, labor and margin goals for the department.
• Ensure food safety compliance and accurate pricing of products.
