Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is hiring for a Coordinator to lead day-to-day department operations in a fast-paced grocery setting. The role focuses on scheduling, staffing, training, and maintaining excellent customer service while promoting growth within the team.

You’ll manage ordering, receiving, stocking and display duties, ensuring food safety and adherence to department procedures while driving sales and maintaining high standards across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in scheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development needs; involved in promotion decisions.
• Supports disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Attains department sales, labor and margin goals and monitors costs.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Ensures the backroom is neat and organized and that floor conditions meet expectations.
