Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead team members serving food, maintain cleanliness, and uphold hospitality standards. You will model service excellence and ensure policies are followed.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, stock management, guest interactions, and resolving complaints. Candidates should be 21+, have Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness, and proficient MS Word/Excel; prior supervision in hospitality preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification is required.
• Food Safety Certification required (1-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent).
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to guests and team members.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel; ability to identify and resolve problems promptly.

Responsibilities

• Trains Team Members in performance of duties.
• Ensures all policies and procedures are followed.
• Assigns and coordinates work to promote efficiency.
• Inspects kitchen and dining areas and equipment for sanitary standards and proper operation.
• Keeps records of meals served and hours worked by Team Members.
• Requisitions and inspects foodstuffs, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock and quality.
• Prepares work schedules/floor plans and evaluates performance.
• Delivers coaching and counseling to Team Members.
• Directs preparation of foods and beverages.
• Greets and communicates with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Resolves Guest complaints.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required.
