Job summary

Westborn Market is seeking a Deli Associate to join the deli team and deliver friendly, efficient service at the counter. You will operate the deli slicer, prepare and package products, assist customers with orders, and help stock and rotate items while maintaining a clean work area.

Under general supervision, you’ll support meat and seafood areas as needed and uphold company policies on time and attendance, health, and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension for order processing.
• Able to operate deli counter tools and packaging efficiently.
• Willingness to follow time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a deli/cheese slicer at the counter.
• Prepare, package, and price products as directed.
• Assist customers with deli orders and take replenishment steps.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; maintain clean, organized work area.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and support other departments as needed.
