The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to deliver fresh, high-quality deli items and memorable guest service. You will help maintain rotation, merchandising accuracy, and food safety, while engaging guests with a warm, helpful approach on the sales floor.

Day-to-day you’ll support inventory, planograms, and timely deliveries, collaborating with leadership for promotions and seasonal events. Commitment to excellence and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
