Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED in progress or completed.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli service areas stocked and appealing to meet customer demands.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, resolves concerns politely.
• Rotates and ensures correct pricing and signage of merchandise.
• Operates slicing equipment and prepares ready-to-eat foods to order.
• Assists with cash register operations and cash handling as needed.
• Maintains sanitation and meets health and OSHA requirements.
• Supports inventory control and proper product handling.
• May assist with receiving and unloading deliveries as trained.
• Cooperates with team to ensure smooth department operations.
